This weekend was the most important games to win in order for us to secure a place in the top four to make the playoffs and with two Tempo Foxes in the PV lineup this would be a easy job.
The first match against Brno Owls we were all guns blazing with a full force attack scoring 10 runs in only 5 innings and shutting out the owls to NO runs at all. This was a good performance by all the team showing how great we can play together and that we are a force to be reckoned with.The next match also against the Owls we were looking to keep up the same intensity from the last game and make easy pickings of these owls once again Waterhouse was on the mound with his partner in devastation Mara again shutting down the owls batting line up only allowing one run and with a penetrable infield of Tonda, Přemek, Vojta and Bart the Owls had no hope in winning, our batting started off slow in the first few innings with a young kid on the mound but only after a few cuts the bois were hot with the stick once again scoring 11 runs to secure the final win needed with Waterhouse hitting a walk off triple to finish the game off with a bang, In both matches we proved that we are the number 1 contender for these playoffs showing our discipline in the box and are raw talent out on defense and we looked forward to taking out this championship if we continue with these kind of performances.
